FRESH Details About Upcoming Splatoon Grand Festival

Some fresh new Splatoon 3 information just landed in my inbox about the upcoming Splatoon Grand Festival and there’s lot going on! Nintendo claims the Splatfest will be the biggest in the series’ history, and judging from the events on offer it most certainly will! Starting on 13th September at 10:00 am AEST and ending on 16th September at 9:59 am AEST, the Grand Festival will feature 3 days of non-stop Splatoon action with concerts from the three groups of the Splatoon series with Deep Cut, the Squid Sisters, and Off the Hook rotating stages per performance. All 3 groups will also unite in the latter stages of the Grand Festival to perform the new single “Three Wishes” together. Players will be able to emote and dance during these performances to express themselves.

If concerts aren’t for you (and that’s ok) there’s so much action on the Splat fields with 4v2v2 tri-color battles available from the start of the Grand Festival, including Scorch Gorge, previously exclusive to the Legend of Zelda-themed Splatfest. The final day of the Splatfest will see the exclusive Tricolor Battle stage Grand Splatlands Bowl. If you can snag the Ultra Signal there, your team’s supporters will arrive to cheer you on. This all coincides with the theme of the Weekends Splatfest which is “Which is the most important to you: Past, Present, or Future?”

For those looking for a more PVE experience, Grizzco Grizzco is still in need of new employees for the next Big Run event as Salmonids
are invading the Grand Splatlands Bowl until tomorrow (9th September.) To encourage everyone to protect the venue, fish scale rewards will be given out to everyone if players can collect a whopping 700,000,000 Golden Eggs worldwide during the event.

Nintendo also said there’s opportunities for players to get some great photos to commemorate the weekend by saying “To get a snapshot to remember from the Grand Festival, everyone who ranks “Ruler” or higher in the Splatfest can take pictures with any of the three groups on the Giant Clam stage. In addition to the Deep Cut pose for players having received the “Ruler” title, players owning the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass and that title can also get Squid Sisters and Off the Hook poses. A brand-new pose will be unlocked for players who reach the title above “Ruler”. Additionally, the scaffolds for staff in front of the Giant Clam stage are rumoured to be a vantage point for photos.”

What’s it Like will be online and covering the Grand Festival so if you miss out, don’t fret! I’ll have a video up of the event as soon as humanly possible. Until then, stay fresh!
